Insurance agents choose CSR24 as needs evolve for customer self-service

ASCnet TENCon Special — September 22, 2011 — Insurance agents who were early responders to customer demands for online policy access and self-service are fortifying their commitment by shifting to Artizan CSR24®, the software solution widely acknowledged today for providing the most advanced service options.

Greene-Hazel and Associates, Inc., in Jacksonville, Florida, and The Daniel and Henry Company in St. Louis, Missouri, announced that they recently implemented CSR24. For years, both agencies had garnered customer self-service success with InScope®, an innovative software introduced in 1999 by Applied Systems, now Artizan's parent company. Applied Systems encourages InScope users to explore CSR24 for the richer features and functionality it offers beyond those of InScope.

"We had used InScope for some time, but we saw the additional features available on CSR24 as must-haves," said Earl Kelly, IT Systems Manager at Greene-Hazel. "It's important to provide our clients with online service options and anytime availability to their insurance information."

Kelly's CSR24 portal--named GHA Xpress--is completely agency-branded. Insurance customers can retrieve agent contact information, issue auto IDs, obtain certificates in real time, and much more.

The Daniel and Henry Company also likes the additional features available in CSR24. "The renewal process of certificates, the ability to manage drivers and vehicles and to report a claim, the service team contact area, the documents area. They're all great," said Christine Forbes, vice president of Technology at Daniel and Henry. "CSR24 is a great service with lots to offer," said Christine Forbes, Vice President of Technology at The Daniel and Henry Company in St. Louis, Missouri. "Its well-designed user interface has increased our clients' satisfaction with our online services."

"While Applied Systems continues to support our clients who choose to stay on InScope, we see the future of online service being CSR24," said Kathleen J. Cox, vice president of Product Management at Applied Systems. "We are working on even stronger integration with Artizan to provide the very best online service options for insureds serviced by agents and brokers who use CSR24 with an Applied Systems agency management system."

Last April, Applied Systems brought together a group of innovative agents and brokers to demonstrate how CSR24 could go beyond InScope to meet customer needs. As the agents reviewed CSR24 features and saw the strong development that went into the software, they began to make the switch.

"We were excited to meet with these forward-thinking agents and get their thoughts on CSR24 versus their current online system," said Richard Roy, president of Artizan Internet Services. "It was wonderful to see that many of the features they were looking for as enhancements to InScope were already a part of Artizan's CSR24 solution."
